Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: For tents there is a small meadow area, but the associated cars have to park in front of the reception. Therefore, with our roof tent, we were left with only a pitch for motorhomes/caravans (all perfectly level) with electricity, although we didn't need it. The place has the typically rational character of a city campsite, but everything is very clean. The quality of the sanitary facilities is very good, but since there is always either a shower or a washbasin with a toilet in one room, queues quickly form, regardless of the need. The WiFi works well.
A bit strange that there is no price list posted anywhere and you have to let yourself be surprised at reception.
The Arctic Cathedral (15 min), the Fjellheisen cable car (25 min) and the city (40 min) can be reached on foot; bicycles also work without problems thanks to the many cycle paths.
Addition 2026: It has been greatly expanded, with the former tent area for motorhomes/caravans asphalted, so no tents are possible. On the other side of the road there is a large gravel area as an extension.

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: A motorhome site close to the city centre with plenty of tarmac-surfaced pitches and a few gravel pitches on the site. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent; electricity, water and waste disposal are included in the price. Booking online didn’t work, even though it looked as though it would when we tried. We ended up with just a gravel pitch by the river. It was quite nice, though, as it was at the far end of the site and, apart from the sound of the river, it was lovely and quiet. It’s about 3 km to the town centre, which can be reached via a bridge that’s currently only open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: Addendum: the supposedly ‘wild’ pitch is actually part of the main site; it just doesn’t have any electricity hook-ups! It’s a huge site – I’d estimate around 350 pitches plus cabins. I didn’t see any tents. I agree with the reviews. You’re unlikely to get a pitch without a booking. Just opposite, a wild campsite seems to have sprung up. That was already quite full too. I’m here because of the close proximity to the Eismeer Church and the Fjellheisenbahn. I’ll be off again after that. Too many people.
