Otherwise, we recommend stocking up on food at Joker in Brekke if you plan to stay longer. Otherwise, there are no shops far and wide. Just beautiful nature and peace and quiet. We didn't rent a boat because it was very windy, but at least the mackerel were easy to catch from the shore.
The sanitary facilities and kitchen have been renovated, and the showers are coin-operated. The site stretches quite a long way along the fjord, so the nicer and quieter the pitch, the further you may have to walk, and it's not flat! You can only walk along the quiet road, but in the next village, Hjartholm, a beautiful path branches off along a river into a lovely green valley.
This campsite is definitely worth a visit!

1. the paramedic building is newly renovated and in the best almost new condition.
2. the lady at reception is super friendly and also speaks English.
3. tent meadow is available.
4. we had a hut without a toilet, but with a small kitchen, fully equipped. Everything was clean.
If people here think that every German grumpy face should be celebrated with submissive friendliness, they are mistaken.
...or the lady had a really bad day.
The place itself is great, as others have already written.
