The site is beautifully situated by the lake! Unfortunately, the groundsman can't influence the weather; otherwise he has helpful advice for any problems and does so in a very friendly and humorous way!
There are several stave churches to admire in the surrounding area and the Jotunheinen National Park and Aurlandfjell have a special charm.
