STRANDPARX cable island

This campsite was opened a year ago and is still a work in progress. However there is plenty of evidence of a lot of investment and work having been put in, and I'm sure this will continue. We were charged just over €20, but then an extra €5 for use of the shower for up to 30 minutes, a bit steep and unrealistic. To access the shower, we were handed a key attached to a large piece of wood, when it is apparent that in the future, some sort of card will be employed. The shower and washing facilities were excellent. This site is best used by those with an interest in water-sports, and families will be able to take part in football adventure golf. For us, it was a more than adequate night's stopover point.

We spent a few days with our motorhome at the STRANDPARX motorhome site and loved it! The peace and quiet on the site is simply marvellous - perfect for relaxing and switching off. The sandy beaches really are a dream - like a short holiday by the sea! Even though some things are still under construction, you can tell that the Böhlecke family has put a lot of attention to detail into the campsite. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to the next time!
