Erholungsgebiet Waldvelen

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed at in many decades of camping! I can't praise it too much. The campsite is part of a much bigger complex including 150 holiday homes but is isolated so one does not interfere with the other. We were one of two lots of campers and shared the field with one caravan - though we were informed that the site was fully booked for the forthcoming holiday weekend. The facilities were incomparable and brand new. We have never stayed at a campsite with its own gymnasium. Each shower was in an independent room. There was a kitchen fully equipped with pots, plates, etc. plus an oven and ceramic hob top.
All this was for 26 Euros (tent 10, adults 8 each), well worth it. Five stars, no argument.
