Erholungsgebiet Waldsee

This is one campsite we shall not rush back to. To be fair, we were charged less than 20 Euros, probably the cheapest prie of our trip, and it can be argued we got what we paid for. Like many German sites, it is primarily interested in long-stays and holiday lets; campers in small tents are an afer-thought. We were directed to a scruffy piece of land, a few metres from the bar where, it being the end of April, a party with loud music began and ran for several hours.
The showers and toilets had seen better days, although the supply of water was plentiful and hot. There was some evidence of renovation of facilities going on so things may improve in the future, but not until better camping ground is found for tents.
