Tängerdalens camping & café - Reviews

us to stay there for three nights ;)We really enjoyed it: friendly, flexible (actually, the site was absolutely packed because of Midsummer) but they still found space for us, clean, cosy, green carpet (lawn), lovely little beach...but especially the service building and café (with a flea market corner), where there was plenty to discover, a historic feel thanks to the old school building, lovingly designed, a great kitchen/common room, and play facilities and toys for young and old alike. Not to mention the sauna, which you can book (50 kronor for two hours)
in another historic little cottage.
The site was the perfect base for a day trip to the copper mine in Falun, a stroll past the historic buildings in the village and a hike up the nearby Vackelberget.

The large communal area is fully equipped.
And then there are the fantastic walking trails and the many traditional Swedish houses.
