Ingestrands Camping - Reviews

In the low season, not very occupied.
At the beginning of July, the pitches by the water are fully occupied, the upper pitches less so. Now in mid-August, almost fully occupied at the weekend. The upper pitches are very large. Anyone who wants to avoid the evening arrival and morning departure hustle and bustle should take the upper pitches.
The sanitary facilities, especially the upper building, are very good. For 2 nights we received a shower card with 10x showers (5 minutes), that is included in the price.
Very friendly reception.
At reception you can also buy the most necessary groceries.
Arvika is only a few kilometers away and is worth a shopping stroll. 2 churches worth seeing and a recommended car museum.
Have been there several times and would come back.
Price: 450 SEK for caravan with electricity and 2 people, not necessarily inexpensive.
The WiFi in the upper area is very weak.

Unfortunately, we were unlucky with two loud neighbors from Norway, who had to talk in front of their camper half the night.

auto-translated: Well maintained facility and friendly staff at the reception, sanitary clean and very good condition, 2 sanitary facilities for the site size a little tight, showers are included in the pitch price, lake is close and easily accessible, bus stop right outside the door.
However, the site is unfortunately considered by older, unfriendly Norwegian "quasi" permanent campers as their territory and accordingly claims staked out, for short stayers in search of Swedish therefore rather not recommended.
Too bad, the site management actually makes an effort, but unfortunately helps nothing if the clientele does not fit
who likes Italian conditions with his place neighbors, feels here probably well, who likes Swedish openness and cordiality, better avoid and go on

I stayed here for many years. It is the best place to start a canoe trip from, either with Arvika Kanot or by your own.

Whoever comes first paints first, here is the motto. You first look for your place before you get the corresponding key for the stream. Partly the seats are occupied, only that there is no camper there, then you also like to go to the reception.
