Trolltunga Camping

Trolltunga Camping is located in Odda between two national parks. Surrounded by beautiful nature, calm water, high mountains with snow-covered peaks, impressive waterfalls and a glacier – all just a few kilometres from the campsite! The site is located by Lake Sandvinsvatnet, 2 km from the centre of Odda and the Hardangerfjord. It is 6 km to the famous Låtefoss waterfall, 5 km to Buer with views of the Buerbreen glacier, and 14 km to Skjeggedal – the starting point for the popular hike to Trolltunga. The Trolltunga shuttle bus stops right at the entrance. Buerbreen, a branch of the Folgefonna glacier (Norway’s third-largest glacier), can be reached on foot. You can drive 5 km to Buer and park there. From there, a three-hour hike to the glacier front and back begins. A guided glacier tour can also be booked at reception – an unforgettable experience! At Trolltunga Camping you can stay in an apartment, cabin, room or in your own tent/motorhome/caravan. You can book online or ask directly at reception whether a pitch is available in the booked or drop-in area. Electricity is available. The site offers showers (20 NOK), toilets, a kitchen, washing machines and dryers. The kiosk sells groceries, ice cream, sweets and soft drinks. Free parking subject to availability. Trolltunga Camping offers many activities: fishing or swimming in the lake from the new jetty, renting a canoe, SUP or bicycle, or trying one of the hikes. Welcome to Trolltunga Camping!
