Relaxing clean camping grounds, close to the sea and mountains for hiking.. midsund offers 4 man made stone staircases, one of them is the worlds longest, amazing views out over the fjords from up the stairs cases. This camping ground has 4 large family cabins and one smaller cabin. Plenty of space for tents, camping vans and mobile homes. Delightful spot. Sanitary building consists of 3 shower/toilet rooms, clean and tidy. Also they have two toilets in an adjacent building which also contains a camping kitchen, this was also clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Payment system available was via paying with card in reception - this was manned twice a day but a tlf was displayed if we needed anything a staff member came within a few minutes.. otherwise we could pay via cash in a payment envelope. Norwegian residents could pay via Vipps. The showers and washer dryer were operated via 10 krone coins. Change was available or we could get change via a card terminal. Boat hire is available and the use of two kayaks was free. Really enjoyed staying here. Was quite and relaxing we will definitely be coming back.
