The site is beautifully located in Golfjellet with a great view, is well maintained and has its own small lake, which can be reached after a short hike and used for some water sports activities. The playground is small but nice.
The donkeys can be rented for a riding round around the site (small children) or for a donkey hike (45 euros).
Electricity, shower and WiFi are included in the price, the sanitary facilities are very simple but clean. The communal kitchen is cozy and well equipped.
We are happy to come back, especially because it is not so overcrowded and there are spacious pitches. Value for money is right.

I can only agree with the previous speakers, space, view, kitchen, sanitary facilities all top. Unlimited showers, as warm as you like and even a shelf for shower utensils.
The fact that you can borrow games, go fishing and use a selection of boats is not a matter of course. The donkeys are a great highlight, it's so nice when they run around between the motorhomes.
I particularly liked the campsite "house rules", written in such a friendly way, just requests and offers, no instructions or any kind of strict tone. Just the way you are welcomed and treated here by the friendly owners.

The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but absolutely well maintained. There are two small sanitary buildings, in at least one of which there is only ONE shower.

The path to the lake resembles a fairytale forest in places and is reminiscent here and there of film scenes of Luke Skywalker and Master Yoda on Dagobah.
A brilliant area for hiking! Highly recommended if you don't feel like hectic and action.
If the weather is too bad, the adventure pool in Gol (approx. 20km west) is a must.

We could park our caravan on the terrace with lake view. Is very windy there (place lies at 850m altitude) but I can recommend if what is free.
There is a large meadow just for tent.
There is a sanitary house with sink, laundry, a unisex shower and two unisex WC's and another with a shower and 3 WC's each. At the showers it can be sometimes that one must queue.
We have also made a small hike with a donkey, I can recommend. For children there is a sandbox, swings, slide.
Showers are included.
Rowing boat, pedal boat and kayak with life jacket included. You can swim in the lake, but only jetty, no beach. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the lake.
Emptying place for motorhomes available.
Some hiking trails in the immediate vicinity with great views of the plateau between Bergen and Oslo.
I can definitely recommend it and would come again.

The cabin was functionally furnished, you could have cooked and you could fold out the couch for two more people. The sanitary facilities were clean. In the surrounding area is a lake in which you can go around with a pedal boat of the campsite.
Otherwise, there is not much going on in the area, for transients a nice alternative.
