Stadheimfossen Camping & Hytter - Reviews

Unfortunately, we booked online for two days, otherwise we would have moved on!
The kitchen looks terrible and smells extremely bad (maybe fish were gutted here at some point), no oven, various buckets and other appliances are lying around—very unloving and unkempt. I think the operator also has a responsibility to check how the facility looks.
There is no toilet for women—it is probably being renovated. Everything has to be done in the men's sanitary facilities. That's OK for us at the moment because we are a family and there is no one else on the site. Otherwise, 2 showers and 2 toilets are very few! Only suitable for small motorhomes, as is the gray water disposal. It's enough for our stopover, but definitely not for a longer stay. It's not really suitable for children either, as there is no playground.

The course is picturesquely and idyllically situated on a salmon river with many waterfalls.
Many activities are possible in the area: fishing in the salmon river (day ticket 350 NOK as of 2018), fishing in the fjord (free), day trip by ferry to Geiranger, boat rental: drive on the fjord for example. Visit of the abandoned farms, hiking, climbing, mountain biking

auto-translated: Small place near Hellesylt. Sanitary the worst conditions we have encountered in all of Norway. More than one night we would not have wanted to stay here. The place is next to a popular waterfall and salmon pool. If you are ambitious in this direction you can try your luck here. We won't come here any more.
