Base Camp Hamarøy - Reviews

The view was fantastic, the pitches were great, the sanitary facilities were more reminiscent of a spa than a campsite, and the kitchen was second to none. The operators put a lot of effort into their work and pay great attention to detail. Highly recommended! The only negative point is the E6 motorway, which is quite close and can be heard when sitting outside. But as soon as you're in your vehicle, that's no longer an issue. It's also important to note that there is no disposal facility for gray water or chemical toilets, but for a 1-2 night stopover, that's not a big deal.

After 3 weeks in Sweden and Norway, almost every day somewhere else, I felt really clean here for the first time after the shower. The facility is top clean and appealing. Not only the sanitary facilities but also the kitchen. The staff are also very friendly and sympathetic.
Everything is top, keep it up. It's a shame that we're leaving tomorrow.

We would have stayed here, beautiful area, ideal for anglers.
There was not a soul around and no one could be reached by phone. Too bad

The kitchen has sea view and it looks cute - you find everything you need and there are 2 tables with chairs.
We paid 300 crowns with the camper with 2 persons and electricity - showers are included. Fits
The woman at the reception is also very nice, so you are welcome to stay here
