Accommodation Type: TentLovely campsite with very nice facilities. Easy camping along the fjord’s edge. Highlight was a reception that served a delicious beer, perfect after a long day’s cycle. Very pleasant stay.
Would I come back: Yes

Accommodation Type: Caravanauto-translated: We had a spot right at the top of the mountain. The access road leads up a fairly steep and narrow road. It's best not to stop there.
We had already booked spot Mamre Nord 14 online in April. Unfortunately, when we arrived, another guest was already there. Apparently, the spot had been double-booked. We were temporarily moved to an alternative spot. The next day, we were able to move to our actual spot and enjoy the wonderful view over the Oslo Fjord. The bathing bay is very rocky and the meadow is full of goose droppings...
The sanitary facilities are also not very nice. Especially the two toilets at the top of the mountain.
A hike to Jesus Bay and over the mountain is definitely worthwhile. Sturdy shoes are a must, though.
