Haugen Friluftsområde

Haugen gård Friluftsområde is a gem in Numedal run by volunteers. Close to the centre but in a rural location in Flesberg, with a shoreline along Numedalslågen. Haugen gård is built on historic ground and today appears as a small open-air museum with several old houses, a storehouse and a schoolroom. There are marked motorhome pitches in the field, where caravans can also stay. Tents can stay near the motorhome pitches or in the marked area by the bathing place. There is no reception, but a volunteer will be there later in the evening between 20:00 and 21:00. Free access to a newly renovated service building with toilet, shower and water point is included in the rental. The code for the key box to the shower room is received by email after booking. Rubbish can be disposed of in bins around the area. There is a large bathing beach with a floating jetty, water trampoline, volleyball court and hammocks. A large playground with zipline, obstacle course, trampoline, swings, carousel and cycle track. A large shelter is strategically located by the playground and has a barbecue area. Walking distance to a shop, fast-food kiosk and stave church.
