Camping d´ Hof

Welcome to Camping d'Hof in the green Venice of Giethoorn. Canals, lakes, small bridges, thatched farmhouses and beautiful gardens define the village scene of Giethoorn. Camping d'Hof is located in the middle of this unique setting, bordering Lake Bovenwiede and Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Active recreation in a natural environment for young and old. There are many cycling and walking routes, as well as boating and canoe routes to explore the area. Swimming, fishing, windsurfing, SUP and sailing are also possible at this campsite. From the campsite you can walk along the village canal to the many restaurants, museums and small shops. The surroundings of Giethoorn are also special and certainly worth discovering. Camping d'Hof is not accessible by car, so we have no space for motorhomes. Camping d'Hof has 3 trekkers' huts and 2 pods, suitable for a hiking trip or short holiday. Located by Lake Bovenwijde are 2 tent fields, tent field 1 and tent field 2. Here you camp directly by the water with your own tent. A water tap, electricity and picnic benches are available. The campsite has facilities such as a sanitary building, laundry, recreation room, playground and a small surf beach by the lake. During your stay, it is possible to rent a boat, canoe, kayak or bicycle to explore the surroundings. The campsite has a surf school where you can learn the basics of windsurfing. The lake is 1 m deep, making it easy to learn. You can also go SUP, stand-up paddle boarding.
