Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping - Reviews

This site is fine as a hostel. It is a bad option for a camper. It is over-crowded, next to a busy road and tents are crammed into a space the size of a penalty area, as many as possible in amongst pods, barbecues and shelters. Inevitably in a crowded area such as this, there will be people who will ignore the needs of others and will still be talking, laughing and shouting till two in the morning as happened here; forget a good night's sleep. We were going to stay for two nights - we left after one. On the plus side, campers enjoy all the benefits of the hostel, which is within walking distance of the city, including kitchen, sitting area, free coffee in the morning, bar. It's a shame that these benefits count for little without a good night's sleep.
