Accommodation Type: TentVery friendly staff. Cozy cafe where you can buy nice sweets and good coffee.
Area is beautiful, backdrop of mountains and ocean at the front. It is very silent, and when we were there, we were the only ones at the campsite.

The price is 2.000 ISK per person, but that includes the ticket price to Viking village.

Shower is very nice, and temperature can be regulated. Toilets are clean, and more than sufficient.
There is a place where you can wash dishes by hand as well.

Would recommend this place!

Accommodation Type: Tentauto-translated: The price of 2000 kr per person includes a visit to the beach, excellent sanitary facilities and wifi.
The place showed up with us quite windy. The space for the tents is not very large.
the Viking Cafe is definitely recommended. Coffee and chocolate is very good and the soup is excellent.
The staff is friendly.
I can not say anything about the cabins.

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: 2000kr per person and includes the shower, the entrance to the Viking city and the walk to the beach from which there is a nice view of the mountains, you can see seals and birds.

The bathrooms are clean and the shower was very nice, as it is big, clean and you can set the temperature of the shower.

The campsite is small, there are two showers and three toilets, only one dishwasher with hot water. There is no kitchen-room, although in the cafe you can buy something to drink (espresso 500kr).

Accommodation Type: Campervanauto-translated: The Viking Café on the Stokksnes peninsula with the mighty Vestrahorn mountain in the background is a special experience that I would not want to miss.

The whole peninsula is privately owned. If you want to go to the lighthouse by car, visit the seal colony from there, do a long or short hike along the black sand beach or Vestrahorn, visit the ruins or the Viking village, a former film set, you have to buy a ticket for 900 ISK.

If you want to camp there and enjoy the most wonderful midsummer sky in front of a fantastic scenery, you have to pay 2000 ISK incl. the ticket per person. The overnight tax is also included.

There is a café with super dear employees. There are homemade cakes, coffee, sandwiches, drinks etc. and some things like Instand Noodles for the camper. There is no possibility for campers to cook their own food.

There is a sanitary container with two toilets and a shower. This container is my only real criticism. It could really be overhauled. The shower does not cost any extra fees.

There is a lot of activity, because besides the campers also other tourists come to visit.

Next door is a riding stable where you can book Icelandic tours.

The beach is a dream, just like the whole peninsula. It was a piece of paradise with a great panorama.

The place is relatively small. We liked that very much, so there are not too many campers. There is electricity for camper vans. There is a separate grassed place for tents.

The atmosphere was breathtaking, it is a very special piece of Iceland.

There are several rooms. These are new and in very good condition.
