The campsite is in the heart of the town in a luxurious environment which is supported by all services such as swimming pool, playground, grocery store, gift shops, library, art gallery, bike rental, horse rental and golf course. There are good hiking trails such as the Health Circle that runs through the campsite itself and the Reykjadalur margromade.
The service house has good toilet and shower facilities. Attached to the service house is a half-roof where there is a washing-up facility with hot and cold water. It is also good to sit there and refuse lunch. A washing machine and dryer are on site and tokens for sale at the information house. Large barbeques are on site. There is also an electric car charging station at the camp site.
Pre-bookable spots are for campers and trailers, NOT TENTS. At the campsite we have spots not listed online for tents, that are bookable at the information house. Electricity is paid at reception.
