Höfðavík is located outside the settlement area of Hallormsstaður. The site is divided into four areas, separated by birch woodland. The lowest area is down by a beautiful cove.

Gorginaauto-translated: Our last campsite on our trip and we are super happy! Close to the river, no wind and wonderful weather :) The sanitary facilities are just like any camping here in Iceland, could definitely be cleaner..but not bad for one night! A shower is also available :)Price is OK and acceptable for us, there were three of us and we took electricity too :) Except for the sanitary facilities, a very clean place!
In the evening and/or morning a gentleman comes and collects the money.
