When we last toured in Germany, 3/4 years ago, we twice used the facilities provided by canoe clubs for around €18. This was a similar idea, the campsite being set at what appeared to be a boatyard alongside a canal. For a very reasonable €20, we camped near the canal-boats alongside the excellent kitchen, and shower block. The kitchen came with crockery and cutlery, not to mention charging points and kettle. Payment is online, in response to which a code for both kitchen and sanitary block is provided, although a supervisory eye is kept by one of the canal-boat owners.
