The campsite is in a wonderfully idyllic and quiet location on the Unstrud. We spent 3 nights on the site.
The pitches are not parcelled out. Everyone chooses their own pitch.
Electricity connections are on the side facing away from the river. If you are right by the river, lay your (long) cable across the path. Cars are parked in a separate car park at the campsite.
There are a total of 2 showers (with token; currently costs €1.5). There are also 4 toilets per gender - in 2 rooms each (4 toilet rooms).
What we missed were additional washbasins / cubicles. There are only the 4 washbasins in the toilet rooms, as well as 2 in the open area in the corridor of the washhouse
There is a kiosk for the essentials and a bread roll service.
In the afternoon, the site fills up quickly with travellers passing through.
All in all, a really nice site that we will be happy to visit again.
