Kjul Strand Camping

Stayed on the site in July 2024 with bike and tent. Huge campsite, mostly used by campers on the way to or from the ferries to Norway. Consequently, people come and go in time with the ferry boats' schedules.

The site is big, but it does not feel like that - there are several areas with different characters available - some are more open, others are more protected by trees and bushes, which is beneficial when traveling with a tent. Direct access to the beach.

Sanitary facilities are pretty old, but clean and working. Kitchen: basically gas stoves and microwave ovns. Big TV room where you can sit in case of bad weather. Small shop with a relatively good selection of groceries and other things that you typically need during your stay on a camping site.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We've been on this site several times, and we're happy to return.
