Þórisstaðir - Reviews

This was our first campsite in Iceland, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The communal building was lovely and warm and there were adequate cooking facilities. The negatives were that there were no showers available when we were there, and washing facilities were very limited. The campsite owner was pleasant and friendly.

The campingplace is divided into 3 Areas, we decided to go down to the lake. It was ok but bathroom not clean, no shower. campside wasn't really looked after. At the lake there are some small moskitos. We payed 2600ISK for 2P and Campingcar. We wouldn't come back, also because it not on the way to sth.
